Pvblic Domain griptape is the brain child of 3 skateboarders from the Midwest who wanted to bring to the market a higher quality product that was more artistically expressive and colorful than the existing products in the market. Pvblic Domain draws inspiration from pure impulse. We don’t curate. We don’t think. We don’t double check. We’re inspired by dead artists and try to modify works of art in unique ways. Pvblic Domain offers a new medium of expression in a new way to interact with art through the activity of skateboarding.

Jeff has described his passion for Pvblic Domain and self-expression in the following way:

“Theres a famous dude, named Marshall McLuhan, who famously critiqued presidents on television and assessed whether or not they are lying based on what they were wearing and found that it didn’t matter what they were wearing but the medium that they were in, like in tv you tv is like um, like a CRT tv. Like dots and pixels, it was not actually ugh, it was that was what made it believable and what made the consumer feel the product. The medium is the message.” jefforgeoff
